First Econschool Winter School in Dec 2023

• Dates are 15th December (Friday) and 17th December (Sunday)

• The timings will be from 2 PM to 6 PM on 15th December and 10 AM to 6 PM on 17th December.

• Venue will be YWCA of Delhi, Ashoka Road, Delhi.

• The event will be in hybrid mode, giving you the option to attend the program in person or online.

• Event includes the following talks:

  • Evolution of Regulatory Landscape in Lending Industry by Priyadarshi Dutta

  • On Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium Models by Dr. Pawan Gopalakrishnan

  • Timing of the tie-breaker by Amit Goyal

  • Why Quantitative easing was not inflationary from 2008-2019 in the US? by Professor Gurbachan Singh

  • Exchange Economies with Indivisible Goods by Dr. Sumit Goel

  • Refinements of the Nash equilibrium solution concept by Amit Goyal

• There will be some fun game experiments, such as the Swap-Retain Game, the Bayesian Version of the Battle of Sexes, Monty Hall Game and payoffs will be in monetary terms. Participants can also engage in auctions to win some prizes.

• Additionally, there is a game show called 'Kaun Banega Econscholar'. It will be a quiz-based game show featuring visualization questions on Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics, with an opportunity to win some prizes.

• Registration Fee is INR 1500/- (plus 18% GST) There is no separate fee to participate in any of the games and experiments. This fee includes everything.
