Programs

Econschool’s programs prepare students for graduate study in economics — the MSQE at the Indian Statistical Institute, and master’s and PhD programs elsewhere.

Preparatory Program

A comprehensive, mathematically rigorous preparation for master’s and PhD entrance examinations in economics, including ISI’s MSQE and international graduate programs. It builds the core microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematics, and statistics these examinations require, with problem-solving at the heart of every topic. The Test Series is included.

Registration for the 2027 batch is closed. More about the Preparatory Program.

Test Series

A structured sequence of tests and quizzes for students preparing for the MSQE and similar entrance examinations: around 25 topic-wise quizzes built from ISI and DSE past papers, ISI mock exams, comprehensive papers, and scheduled live online tests. You can join the Test Series on its own, or receive it as part of the Preparatory Program.

Registration is open throughout the 2027 cycle. More about the Test Series.

Workshops & Other Courses

Workshops are short, live sessions in the computational tools of modern economics — Python, R, and AI tools — taught through problems in economics, probability, and statistics. No prior programming experience is assumed.

Courses run over a longer period and cover a subject in depth. Both workshops and courses are open to students and enthusiasts at every level.
